statement

We sit at an intersection-a fork in the road. Everyday is a place, a marker, a decision-ever fleeting as it rises with the sun and recedes into the night. Everyday is an ephemeral moment. Drawing is a stop gap (action and tool) of documenting the phenomenal world as it passes by. Drawing collects a moment, a scene, from our world as it dances with the mind. The drawing, an extension of me, is a marker of that space, that place, that time. To look (see), to search, and to be aware of those fleeting spaces is what I am here to draft. And in drafting I make a map of this perspective of perception of these (the everyday) fleeting moments of existence. This is my meditation. Drawing is my tool.
